Iambic Productions is the UK's leading independent production business specializing in arts, music and entertainment programmes.
Established in 1988 by producer/director Chris Hunt, Iambic has quickly built a reputation for making world class music & arts programmes and is nowadays widely considered the blue riband production company in its field.
Its producers have gained significant international recognition, winning over fifty nominations and awards in most of the major festivals in the world - BAFTA, Emmy, Prix Italia, International New York Festival, Chicago, ACE and others - and was the only British company to gain two Primetime Emmys in 2004, which it achieved for its show Elaine Stritch at Liberty.
Over the last eighteen years, Iambic has successfully produced major documentaries including profiles of ABBA and Michael Jackson, securing mainstream and high-profile television, video and DVD sales for many of them.
In recent years Iambic has branched out into drama and factual entertainment, with the set up a new division called IP Entertainment to take advantage of the mainstream entertainment market. |
